Along
with the substantial village of Unstone, the Parish also includes, perched
some 800ft above sea level to the eastern edge of the Pennines, the villages
of Apperknowle, Hundall, West Handley, Middle Handley, Nether Handley and
Summerley. If your business is based in Unstone, Dronfield or the surrounding areas, or serves local residents, would you like to support the Parish and this website by advertising here?
If you live in Unstone Parish, we
are
planning to include a photographic tour of the area, for which your own
pictures would be welcome, along with a page on each of the villages and
hamlets. There will also be maps and a forum for you to register and add
your views, comments and opinions.Unstone Parish Council meets on the third Thursday of each month at the Elderley Persons' Club in Apperknowle, usually at 7.30pm. All parishioners are most welcome to attend.
We are currently re-vamping and updating the whole of this website for a re-launch in 2009.
